The Lyds product line is quite different, as the special SANDS material used not only has a shock-absorbing capacity which is unique, but also repeatedly returns to its original shape as soon as your foot leaves the ground. This minimizes the stress on tendons, muscles and joints as much as possible. Test measurements show that for running movements, the downward load is reduced by 100 N (roughly 10 kg) per metre. This puts Lyds soles significantly ahead of the other sports/energy soles and sports shoes tested. The same tests also evaluated the manner in which the maximum downward load is distributed over the foot as well as the static load. In these areas, the Energy Soles also scored significantly better.*

The Energy Soles were tested for their effectiveness when used by persons who need to perform standing or walking activities for long periods of time. 57% out of a total of 350 test participants reported less fatigue and fewer physical complaints as a result of their work activities.**

Energy Soles have been tested for medical problems such as worn-out foot soles, trapped nerves, and diabetes. Here also, the very high level of shock-absorbing capacity was viewed very favourably. In addition, the softness of the material and its ‘warmth giving’ nature also score highly. By reducing the pain level, the soles encourage the user to do more physical exercise.***
